Yay - I get a one dollar raise Odds are it’ll be two weeks before I meet with him though - Captain Probation is NEVER in his office.

The following is an excerpt from Criminal Justice Internships, Theory into Practice, 4th ed. I thought it might be helpful to you as you contemplate filling out your field application.

1. Develop a “me file”. Include your transcripts, copies of your best term papers, names and addresses of all former residences and employers, and current references.

2. Prepare a resume and cover letter and keep it updated. (If you need help, try typing “resume wizard” into the Word help box and follow the directions. The tool will help you build a resume and you have several choices of style.)

3. List the factors that you should consider in selecting an internship site, in the order of importance to you.

4. Develop a list of possible internship sites from a variety of sources, including your internship advisor, previous interns, and the Internet.

5. Develop questions that you would ask in an internship interview.

^Like I really have time to put all that together - but Ok I’ll get right on that after I take my criminal law exam tomorrow, criminal investigation exam next Tuesday - oh and if you’re wondering if I’ll vote..I ALREADY DID SUCKAS! “No Excuse Ballot”..I still had to stand in line for 15 minutes. Who did I vote for? I voted partisan Independent - just call me the political equivalent of devils advocate. I like to really mix things up. Ok just kidding..
