World of Warcraft

Posted in General on November 23rd, 2004

I just wanted to mark the day that I first purchased World of Warcraft and began playing - this is my 3rd MMORPG and they just keep getting better and better. The opening sequence was enough to justify the 50 dollars I had to drop for this game - if you don’t believe me - ask me about the snow peppered fur. I participated in the Open Beta and ended up falling in love with this game - the depth is beyond incredible. I think what sealed it for me was the music…

Speaking of which - Davun I’m gonna nag you everyday till I can get a copy ;)

DVD R/RW

Posted in General on November 21st, 2004

Since I haven’t posted in a while…
I went shopping with Megan and her family in Raleigh on Saturday to find a couch and was able to stop at the Tigerdirect.com store there on Capital Blvd. THey were running a special on a lower speed DVD R/RW - $29.99 post rebates. Not a bad deal and considering the fact that games, etc are being released on DVD now I figured it was time to step up from my old 8x HP CD R/RW. The DVD burn speeds arent all that phenomenal, neither are the CD burn speeds - but I really don’t care. Why do I need my burn in 20 seconds? A couple minutes hasn’t killed anyone. Ok I’m rambling..If you’re interested in getting on yourself you should hitup the website, just click ont he picture above and it should gank you right over to that product.

Oh and don’t be thrown by the “Mad Dog” title - the drive registers as a Toshiba model so I’m guessing its some sorta parent company to Mad Dog?

In other news..ah hell I’ll update later and fill you in on my boring life.
