This week is a little slow with the US Marshals so I’ve taken the downtime and made use of it by working on some application essays. The Secret Service for instance is really drilling it to me…8 seperate short essays (paragraphs?). I’m not the best writer in the world but I try. I’m very qualified to write reports, keep things simple, etc…I just hope they don’t turn me down because my paragraphs aren’t good enough.

I really need to get these applications behind me..at least some progress..I have to have one mailed off soon to see if I’m eligable to take the TEA for a special agent position with the Secret Service. I know I keep mentioning them..they just seem to be hiring right now…when noone else is…

I also found out today that I missed the damn ATF exam - they give next to no notice. Grrr. Could be another 6 months!
