Servire!

Well I finally graduated. Thanks to all my family n friends who came out. I’m officially Alumni now and it feels kinda cool.

Before you quit reading though click this link and read a little bit on ECU. The most interesting part would be my “fellow alumni” (scroll down to see them).

I never knew that Robert Morgan went to ECU. Not only was he was from Asheville, but he happened to be the pilot for the Memphis Bell. Anyone who knows me or my interests know why I find this exciting. How cool.

College Career

Posted in General on December 7th, 2005

Lets see..a few updates on life.

I graduate in a couple of weeks - Dec 16th & 17th. Theres several people coming down - I’m surprised at how many.

My internship with the US Marhals ended today..I think I’ll miss it. We went to the range on Friday and I fired my first Glock (.40 & .45) with a holster pull (my first too). I also got to shoot the Kahr P9# a subcompact 9mm, and an MP5. What a sweet gun. Either I’m a good shot or thats a really really easy gun to shoot. Probably the latter. I also got to ‘qualify’ and did alright. I was about 25 points under the average and had I known the signifigance of each shot I think I could have done better. Not bad for zero training though.

In other news I have a herniated disc in my back. And it sucks. This puts all of my plans at risk because I may have to have surgery. I won’t know anything further than that until the 12th but with my luck I’m going to have a miserable end to 05 and beginning of 06. It’s pretty depressing.

A couple of weeks ago though I went shopping with Megan in Smithfield and was sitting outside waiting on her when I was approached by non other than a Raleigh News & Observer reporter. She asked me a few questions and for the most part got what I said right. I either mispoke, or she mis quoted..I chauffeured, NOT chaperoned her down there. Heres the article for kicks.

My college career comes to an end next Friday. Here’s a picture of something nice to alleviate the stress of trying to get fixed, and get a job all before my bills come due.
