Gotta give it to the Ruskies - when they commit, they commit.

Anyone whos ever been in an accident and had their name printed on a police report knows very well it isn’t long before personal injury attorneys are filling your mailbox with solicitations for services…

I wonder if it will be like this again tomorrow. Yes, that’s a video tape in the upper right hand corner.

Good news from all this though - Nationwide finally (almost a week later) authorized my rental car, and confirmed they were going to fix my 4Runner. At least thats my understanding…

And in other/other news - my brother just called and told me they were on tour with Megadeath and other metal bands for the next month or two. Then later this year they’ll be having a first-album party in NY which I hope I can attend. No doubt I’ll stick out like a sore thumb ;)

26 and climbing..

Yesterday was my birthday.  It was a good day due to Megan and her family; and the two days before that were great too due to William and Alisha.  I also got some nice cards from my parents and friends, and some would say I really racked up this year…

First check out my new Logitech X-230’s!!

..not to mention the initially “loaned” and now “birthday procured” laptop!!

and last but not least my new 2gigabyte jumpdrive!

The generosity of my friends and family has helped me push out of my mind the frustrations of my “life on hold” after back surgery and now the issue of having my 4 Runner fixed after an unlicensed mexican with 2 kids in her car virtually T-boned me at 55mph while the remnants of Ernesto rained down upon us.  It wasn’t even her car - and while their vehicle is covered with insurance I’m not 100% positive they are going to pay since the driver was non-owner and unlicensed.

It was a terrible start to a weekend, but ended well thanks to everyone doing everything they could to help me out. Thanks to everyone for that.

They may total my car ( :( ) or they may pay for repairs, either way I’m out of a vehicle for a while - just on the breach of starting physical therapy and getting a new job.

So there you have it - an update on my life.  In other news, check out Megans blog to see a few pictures from our week long trip to Emerald Isle.  I was going to post some pictures but she beat me to it :)
