26 and climbing..
Yesterday was my birthday. It was a good day due to Megan and her family; and the two days before that were great too due to William and Alisha. I also got some nice cards from my parents and friends, and some would say I really racked up this year…
First check out my new Logitech X-230’s!!
..not to mention the initially “loaned” and now “birthday procured” laptop!!
and last but not least my new 2gigabyte jumpdrive!
The generosity of my friends and family has helped me push out of my mind the frustrations of my “life on hold” after back surgery and now the issue of having my 4 Runner fixed after an unlicensed mexican with 2 kids in her car virtually T-boned me at 55mph while the remnants of Ernesto rained down upon us. It wasn’t even her car - and while their vehicle is covered with insurance I’m not 100% positive they are going to pay since the driver was non-owner and unlicensed.
It was a terrible start to a weekend, but ended well thanks to everyone doing everything they could to help me out. Thanks to everyone for that.
They may total my car ( 
) or they may pay for repairs, either way I’m out of a vehicle for a while - just on the breach of starting physical therapy and getting a new job.

Happy belated birthday! Bummer about that accident of yours, hopefully the insurance won’t drag their feet with your claim like they did with mine. The funny thing is that when I was hit on my bike and was hospitalized for it, I didn’t have a single lawyer come offering their services. I guess I was lucky in that aspect.
